BALDURAN Protector Terms of Service

These specific terms apply to your use of BALDURAN Protector and are in addition to the BALDURAN General Terms of Service. By using BALDURAN Protector, you agree to these supplementary terms.

1. User-Controlled Filtering Options

The Software provides features that allow the User to enable or disable specific DNS filtering categories and blocking options. You acknowledge and agree that:

User Responsibility: The decision to activate or deactivate any filtering option rests solely with the User.
Network Impact: Enabling these options may cause certain websites, services, or applications to become inaccessible or function incorrectly.
Non-Circumvention: The Software does not bypass "anti-adblock" measures implemented by third-party websites. If a website requires the disabling of filtering to view content, it is the User's responsibility to manage the Software's settings accordingly.

2. Technical Disclaimers

The Company does not warrant that the filtering options will block all intended traffic or that they will not interfere with legitimate network connections. The Software is provided "AS IS," and the Company assumes no liability for the effectiveness or the consequences of any filtering option chosen by the User.

3. Specific Limitation of Liability

IN ADDITION TO THE LIMITATIONS IN THE GENERAL TERMS, THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SERVICE DISRUPTIONS, LOSS OF ACCESS TO THIRD-PARTY SERVICES, OR INTERFERENCE WITH NETWORK-DEPENDENT DEVICES (SUCH AS SMART HOME OR SECURITY SYSTEMS) RESULTING FROM THE ACTIVATION OF FILTERING OPTIONS WITHIN THE SOFTWARE.

4. Local Data Processing and Privacy

BALDURAN Protector operates entirely on the User's local hardware. All DNS queries, filtering logs, and network telemetry are processed and stored strictly on the local device. The Company does not collect, transmit, store, or monitor any DNS traffic or browsing history.
